Review of Animal Farm

Review/Prediction of Animal Farm

Animal Farm" is a satirical fable of great symbolic value, The novel is an allusion to the Russian Revolution and can be seen as the historical analysis of the causes of the failure of communism. The novel aims to prove that the greed for power in human nature surely does corrupt him and makes him more self-centered. The novel was a clever and finely disguised attack on communism
Whatever the good intentions of political movements and developments, power corrupts, and the strong will always exploit the weak.

. After chasing the owner away, the animals feel free to function the way they want and keep all the produce to themselves. But this is until the greed for power becomes prevalent. The pigs on the farm take over management and convince the other animals of their supremacy. The other animals, entrenched in the philosophy of the revolution, obey the pigs and work hard for the betterment of the farm. However, the pigs use them to satisfy their own selfish needs and desires.
Animal Farm successfully presents how the mechanism of propaganda and brainwashing works in administration and management, by showing how the pigs could make the other animals believe practically anything.
The novel maybe seen as an analysis of the Soviet regime, or as a warning against political power.A very moving and touching novel, which highlights the disappointment of an idyllic vision gone wrong. Assists in understanding history and Capitalism and Communism.
